We were truly honored to host Bill Davidson and his wife, Angie, as special surprise guests for our Rock River HOG Chapter picnic and meeting on Tuesday, June 16! 🍔 🤝😊

Bill took the time to share family history, provide updates about the future of Harley-Davidson, and adventures that lie ahead, followed by a Q&A.

The Davidsons’ visit held particular significance as June 16 was a landmark date in Harley-Davidson history. On June 16, 1981, 13 Harley-Davidson executives, including Willie G. Davidson, successfully took the company back from AMF, securing the future of the Motor Company. That marked the beginning of the era famously known as, “The Eagle Soars Alone.” 🦅

Tuesday was a great reminder of the passion, perseverance, and independence that continue to embody the Harley-Davidson spirit today.
