Ein paar Tage mit der neuen Trident 800 und natürlich musste sie mit zum Glemseck 101. 🏁

Ich kenne die Trident 660 und genau deshalb war die 800er für mich besonders interessant. Auf den ersten Blick vertraut, aber sobald man losfährt, merkt man schnell: Hier steckt deutlich mehr Motorrad drin.

Der Dreizylinder fühlt sich kräftiger und erwachsener an, besonders wenn man aus niedrigen Drehzahlen heraus beschleunigt. Dazu kommt ein Fahrwerk, das etwas mehr Reserven mitbringt, ohne dass die Trident ihren unkomplizierten Charakter verliert.

Sie ist also nicht einfach eine größere 660er. Eher die Trident, wenn man irgendwann sagt: „Ich hätte gerne ein bisschen mehr davon.“

Und nach ein paar Tagen und vielen Kilometern muss ich sagen: Der Ansatz gefällt mir ziemlich gut.

A few days, a few hundred kilometres and a Trident 800 that I got to take straight to Glemseck 101. 🏁

I had the chance to do more than just look at the new Trident 800. I actually got to ride it, live with it and put some proper kilometres on it. And after the first few rides, one thing becomes pretty clear: this is much more than just a bigger 660.

The new 798cc three-cylinder engine produces 115 PS and 84 Nm of torque, paired with a high-quality adjustable suspension, plenty of technology and, of course, that unmistakable Triple sound.

What I really like about it: it feels more mature and confident without losing the lightweight, accessible character that makes the Trident what it is with less shifting.

And those gold wheels? Definitely not helping with the whole “keep your eyes on the road” situation. 💛

they gave us those Tigers on street tires and told us to go off-road….. i was scared at first, didn‘t feel like having control…. After 1-2 hours, i didn‘t want to stop! The bike felt light, strong a lot of control, like an extension of my body.
