Hummer Invasion Due to the recent changes at Oceano Dunes SVRA we will be changing to just "Hummer Invasion" We are working on future events in and outside California!

For more information go to www.HUMMERinvasion.com A place where twice a year there is a gathering of Hummer enthusiasts have fun and spend the weekend together camped out on the beach (if you are brave) or some get hotel rooms and we hang out, wheel, go out to eat, bbq and just have a great time. There is no structure, we are just here to have a good time!

Throw back Thursday ... 16 years ago we bought our 4th Hummer H1 out of Scottsdale Arizona, asked my youngest son if he wanted to drive it some of the way back, he jumped behind the wheel and drove it all the way back! Now he owns a Hummer also! It has gone from an Open Top with half doors pictured, to a Wagon with X doors and now a 4 door hard top. After getting stolen in 2011 we wanted to either sell it or reinvent it and that is how it became the Rusty Hummer in 2013. We use this in our businesses as a truck for supplies, events and showing property in remote locations.

Creek crossing is still closed ... a Ranger told me today it will probably be another 2 weeks for crossing and camping. Currently day use is open from Grand to just south of the Pier Ave entrance, about 2/3'sof the way down the houses. Lots of debris and the shelves are still there.

Winter Hummer Invasion is now closed ... Sorry folks ... State Parks has cancelled camping reservations and you probably will not be able to get on the beach due to the rains and weather. We are expecting 6-8 inches of rain in the next 48 hours! If you are interested in getting together in a month or two let me know maybe we can do something or there is always the August get-together!
