🏡 I’M PRE-APPROVED… CAN I BUY ANY HOME IN MY BUDGET?

Not necessarily!

Getting pre-approved is a BIG first step. It tells you how much you may qualify to borrow based on your income, credit, debts, assets, and loan program.

But here’s something buyers sometimes don’t realize:

👉 You’re pre-approved as the borrower — the property still has to qualify, too.

Even if a home is within your pre-approved price range, the property itself must meet the requirements of your particular loan program. The appraisal, property condition, value, and other requirements can all play a part in whether that specific home can be financed.

That’s why it’s so important to work with your lender and Realtor before and during your home search. The goal isn’t just to find a home within your budget — it’s to find a home that works with your financing, too! 🏠🔑
