This hurts to look at. 🤦‍♂️📉

This is a brand new 2026 Sea-Doo GTX 130 Pro. It only has 13 hours on the clock, and it’s already sitting in the Odyssea shop with a massive crack in the hull.

The story? A renter tried to rip a tight turn to spray his buddy, misjudged the distance, missed the spray, and slammed straight into the other ski.

We know it looks fun in the videos, but this is the reality. The worst-case scenario is someone getting seriously injured. The best-case scenario is a super expensive fiberglass repair bill.

Keep your distance, stay spread apart, and respect the equipment so everyone can stay safe on the water this summer! 🚤💨

This 2021 Sea-Doo RXP-X sunk and took on a massive amount of water. We got it completely pumped out and firing again, but we had to find the source of the leak... 🌊🕵️‍♂️

The culprit? A massive hole blown straight through a heavily corroded intercooler.

The customer gave us the ultimate green light: "If it's broken, let's put on something cool." 😎

We are ripping out the stock setup and upgrading this machine with a heavy-duty Fizzle Intercooler and a Wet Jet performance exhaust system. It is going to breathe better, run cooler, and sound absolutely insane.

Doing your own Sea-Doo oil change this season? A routine service can turn into a massive mess in the hull if you overlook the details! 🛑🛢️

Here’s a quick but critical tech tip from the bench at Odyssea Jet and Prop Shop. When you swap out that oil filter, you can't just slap the old cap back on. To prevent messy leaks and maintain proper pressure, you must ensure the cap is fully resealed.

Always remember to:
🔧 Replace the 2 main O-rings on the oil filter cap itself.
🔧 Replace the small O-ring on top of the cap (right where the bolt head sits).
🔧 Double-check the nut on the bolt to make sure it is completely tight and secure.

Skipping these cheap O-rings is the #1 way to end up with oil pooled in your bilge. Do it right the first time!

The # 1️⃣ mistake that will destroy your jet pump in seconds. 🪨💥

This ski came into the Odyssea shop for a routine service, and the second we fired it up, chunks of the wear ring went flying. The culprit? A massive rock sucked straight into the impeller.

Jet skis act like giant vacuums. If you hit the throttle in just a few inches of water, you are going to suck up every rock, shell, and piece of sand directly into your pump.

The Golden Rule: Always walk your ski out to knee-deep water before you fire it up.
The Exception: If your ramp is too shallow, start it, do NOT touch the throttle, and idle your way out to deep water before giving it gas.

Save your wear ring and save your summer! 🚤💨

Salt, moisture, and time are the ultimate enemies of your PWC engine. If you own a Sea-Doo Spark, you know taking the top deck off is a process—so when it is off, you need to make it count! 🛑💦

Here’s a mandatory shop rule at Odyssea Jet and Prop Shop: Anytime the top is off a Spark, we take 5 minutes to thoroughly coat the metal engine components with CRC Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor.

Make sure you hit these critical spots to stop rust and oxidation in its tracks:
⚙️ Motor mounts
⚙️ The engine block
⚙️ Oil filter canister
⚙️ Exhaust manifold

It leaves a protective film that seals out water and salt, saving you from seized bolts and massive repair bills down the road. It's cheap insurance for your ski!

The verdict is in on the 2024 Sea-Doo GTX 130 Pro! 🔋❌

If you missed Part 1, go back one video to hear the exact sound it was making. For everyone who guessed a bad starter motor in the comments... you were 100% correct. 🎯

We pulled the starter out and threw it on the bench test directly off the battery—absolutely dead silence. It should be spinning like crazy, but we got nothing.

We are getting a fresh OEM starter dropped into the ski to get it fired up, but the story doesn't end there. Now we have to play detective and figure out exactly why there is so much water inside this hull. The spark plugs are sounding fouled out, too. On to the next problem! 🕵️‍♂️💧

It just keeps getting worse... this might be a total loss. 🤯📉

We are diving deeper into this Sea-Doo Wake Pro update, and the saltwater destruction is unreal. The throttle body is bad, the supercharger is completely locked up with corrosion, and the intercooler is bad. To top it all off, the fuel literally looks like straight coffee. 🤮☕

The jet pump is completely stuck on, so we are going to have to break the carbon ring off, cut the metal hat, and pull the entire assembly out with the driveshaft just to get it apart. We have a strong feeling this machine was completely sunk in saltwater and just sat there rotting from the inside out.

This is why immediate action is required if your ski ever takes on water. Minutes matter in saltwater!
