I have a whole new appreciation for people who wire cars for a living but especially EFI and turbo boosted combo's. To do it right, clean, with all proper gauge wires and colors along with connectors, heat shrink, etc is very time consuming. This is my first time wiring a Holley EFI, twin turbo combo and man it's work.

Am I the only one who feels most items manufactured these days are engineered to fail shortly after the items warranty runs out? I mean let's be real, if something lasts forever then companies don't make nearly as much profits and let's also be honest that greed rules the world today so it's more profitable to design items to fail in a certain amount of time so the buyer either has to pay for repairs, parts or even has to buy a new item again. Cell phones and computers come to mind for sure. In fact I believe Apple got in trouble with the Feds over something of that nature being exposed with the Iphones.

I don't weld every single day. Many days are spent fabricating things or wiring, etc. So my Mig and Tig units aren't being used for hours on end, day after day. So when a unit I feel prematurely fails it's very disappointing. Then when it's costing half the price of a brand new unit for just the parts, with the labor cost being covered by the manufacturer and no more warranty it leads me to wanting to move in another direction. If I had to cover labor too I may as well just buy a new unit and scrap an only 6 year old machine. This is truly a case of you get what you pay for and cheaper is rarely better.

I'm no novice to forced induction EFI systems but over the last 24 years I've only installed/wired in one system that I can recall and it was a Big Stuff 3 OG system back in 2008. Back then there were no 'bump' buttons, wheelie controls and electronic boost control was just hitting the market. Now seeing what these modern systems like the Holley Dominator, Big Stuff Gen 4 and FuelTech systems are capable of doing it just amazing IMO.
