I recently upgraded this 2024 Thor Tellaro 20L class B motorhome to a Victron Energy based system. The factory installed inverter only powered the television in the RV. However, with this upgrade the whole RV has power for days! The best part is in the event of a low state of charge the Victron system can automatically start up the generator and charge the battery bank. This is accomplished using the FJ Solar Products Auto Gen Start.

Recently, I completed a Victron power upgrade on a 2024 Leisure Travel Van Wonder 24RL class B RV!

I relocated the batteries and inverter from an outside compartment to under the bench seating in the rear of the RV. A Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000va inverter/charger was used to provide 120v to the entire RV instead of just a couple of outlets. Also installed in the system was the FJ Solar Products Auto Generator Start box. This allows the Victron system to auto start the generator on a low state of charge or to periodically exercise the generator to keep it in a ready to run state.

Due to mounting the MultiPlus-II in a horizontal position an External Fan Kit from FJ Solar Products was installed to help aid air flow through the unit and keep it at a more optimal temperature.

Epoch Batteries

Earlier this month I upgraded a 2024 Newmar Canyon Star from AGM to Lithium batteries. A Victron Orion XS 50amp DC/DC was installed to handle charging the lithium batteries while protecting the alternator from burning out.

A Victron Lynx Distributor, Victron SmartShunt and a BEP Battery Disconnect were leveraged to connect the new system to the existing systems in the coach.

Ive been hard at work this week getting a full system installed on a Class B motorhome. Fun getting it all to fit into such a small rv, but it will be a very capable system.

This 2019 Newmar Mountain Aire got upgraded with a massive lithium battery bank thanks to Battle Born Batteries! The inverter was upgraded to a Victron MultiPlus-II 3000va 2x120v inverter charger. This inverter was chosen as my clients main goal was to be able to run one of the AC units through the night and also keep the refrigerator running 24/7. This MultiPlus-II allow my client to run one AC of his choosing off the inverter. With the factory installed inverter this wasn't possible.

I also installed a FJ Solar Products External Fan kit to aid in cooling the Victron MultiPlus-II inverter. With being mounted horrizontally this inhibits the optimal air flow through the unit. The inverter will then start to reduce its power output as it heats up. With the External Fan Kit, available as a single or dual kit, it helps to move air through the unit and keep it cool.
