❄️ Cold Weather Is Hardest on These 2 Car Systems
When temperatures drop, we consistently see issues show up in batteries and tire pressure — even on vehicles that were “fine last week.”
Here’s why 👇
🔋 Batteries
Cold weather slows chemical reactions inside your battery. If it’s already weak or aging, winter is when it shows up as slow cranking or no start.
🛞 Tire Pressure & TPMS Lights
Cold air contracts. For every 10°F drop in temperature, tire pressure drops about 1 PSI. That’s often enough to trigger the tire pressure warning light — even without a leak.
❄️ Why Winter Checks Matter
Cold weather doesn’t usually cause new problems — it exposes small ones that were already there. Catching them early helps avoid breakdowns, uneven tire wear, and safety issues.
February is a great time to check in on your vehicle and make sure it’s ready for the rest of winter and we're running specials to help with these issues when they come up!
