Been pretty busy lately! Most of the underside of Mark's 442 is done, and the engine and transmission are in, just need to put the accessories and brakets back on, and the core support and radiator, and then the cam can be broken in! Anyways, the 442 got rolled out for a couple weeks to do a trunk floor and quarter panels, and some other miscellaneous patches on this 1966 Buick GS convertible!

Did the first round of test fitting everything together on the rear of this 73 firebird, torque boxes, frame rails, trunk floor, rear cross brace, and tail panel all fit together pretty well, we are running into a small problem though, the previous owner had cut everything out of the rear without bracing it up, so the back of the car has drooped down a little over the years, causing the tail panel to fit poorly with the quarter panels. Nothing some creativity can't take care of though!

Here's a great (and affordable) alternative to those super expensive tubular control arms, boxing in the factory ones! This combined with the polyurethane bushings and a nice set of Koni shocks, this thing will handle great! A little update on the 73 firebird, I decided to get the rear cross brace and taillight panel fitted before everything goes up in the car, so far so good, should only need minor massaging to get everything else fit together!

Cruising/car show season is coming to an end, so it's already time to start thinking about next year! Do you have an oil leak, wheel bearings that need replaced/repacked, worn out suspension or steering, maybe a leaky door seal or weather stripping? Maybe you want ti upgrade your old drum brakes to new disk brakes, or get your engine freshened up/upgraded, new carpet or seat upholstery? If so then send me a message or call to get your car in the shop for whatever repair/maintenance/ upgrades you want, I will also be doing both interior and exterior detailing/paint correction this spring as well.
