I can remember pretending to run the cash register at his first garage over on Lowell St. We brought the S&S Auto name back to life.. Samples & Sons. We are deeply saddened to have heard the news of Oberlin’s own, Officer Billie Neadhams passing. He was a wonderful soul who’s gone too soon. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and all that were blessed to have crossed paths with such a kind and honorable man. Hug your loved ones close as life is so short and tomorrow is never guaranteed. 🕊️🤍

It is with heavy hearts and deeply felt condolences that we share that Oberlin Patrol Officer Billie Neadham has passed away this morning at his home in Lorain. Officer Neadham has been a dedicated member of the Oberlin Police Department for over 18 years, beginning as an Auxiliary Patrol Officer in 2007, becoming a Part-Time Patrol Officer in 2008, and then a Full-Time Patrol Officer in 2009.

Officer Neadham also served as the School Resource Officer in the Oberlin City Schools and lead the Police Explorers Program since 2010. Additionally, Officer Neadham organized many community programs like Oberlin Safety Town and the Shop with a Cop program. With Officer Neadham’s long-standing relationship with the Oberlin Schools, the Oberlin School district has arranged for grief counseling for students and staff.

More information will be shared as it becomes available. At this time, we join the Oberlin Police Department and the Oberlin community in mourning this incredible loss and send our deepest sympathies to Officer Neadham’s family and all those who knew him.

Hoppy Easter! 🐰🙏🏼💙 Hope everyone enjoyed a nice day with a couple of loved ones. These are trying times right now but at least the weather is working on getting warmer. 🌞 There’s no telling how much longer this is all going to last but we wish you peace & strength to come out of this stronger than before. Together, we will make it through. It’s been awhile since we posted on here but know that we are taking this pandemic seriously and doing our best to keep everything operating as smooth as possible and still having you and your safety as our top priority. We are disinfecting all door handles, shift levers and steering wheels along with our common spaces. We are still open normal business hours and are fully staffed to get you your vehicles back safe and road ready.
