🚨 OCTOBER IS NATIONAL SLOW DOWN MOVE OVER MONTH 🚨
Every flashing light on the roadway represents a person doing a job and trying to make it home safely.
Tow operators. Police officers. Firefighters. EMS. DOT crews. Road service technicians. Utility workers. Construction crews.
They all deserve the same thing you do: to go home alive.
When you approach flashing lights on the roadway, MOVE OVER when you can. If you cannot move over safely, SLOW DOWN and give them room.
This is not about inconvenience.
This is not about adding a few seconds to your drive.
This is about preventing another family from getting that phone call nobody should ever receive.
Too many responders have already been struck and killed while simply doing their jobs. One death is too many.
During National Slow Down Move Over Month, Slow Down Move Over Inc. is asking every driver across America to make one simple commitment:
SEE THE LIGHTS. MOVE OVER. SLOW DOWN. SAVE A LIFE.
We will continue educating.
We will continue speaking for the families.
We will continue fighting for the men and women working inches away from traffic.
And we will continue to DRAG THE CHAINS FROM HERE.
