Planning a new dock for spring 2027? Fall is a good time to start the conversation.

A custom dock starts with understanding the property, shoreline, boats, and how the owner wants to use their waterfront. From there, Next Level Marine works with the customer and Wahoo Docks to develop a configuration around those needs.

This recent project is a good example. The customer wanted a double deck dock, but the property and seasonal removal requirements called for a more customized approach. The final design went through multiple rounds before arriving at a configuration built specifically for the project.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be taking a closer look at how custom docks are designed, built, assembled, and ultimately installed at Deep Creek Lake.

After a summer on Deep Creek, you probably have a pretty good idea of what you would change about your dock.

This recent Wahoo Docks project started with the shoreline. We worked through a custom design with the customer to fit the property, make better use of the available space, and account for seasonal removal from the beginning.

Take a closer look at the MasterCraft NXT24 and some of the features that make this boat ready for long days on the lake. It’s powered by a 380 HP Ilmor with SurfStar, SoundStage audio with M80 amps, an acrylic walkthrough door, charcoal SeaDek, and a heater.

The NXT24 also includes an under tower cover, with seating for up to 16.
