Dirt Runners Track Rules & Etiquette

Welcome to the racing program! To ensure a fun, fair, and fast-paced day of racing for everyone, please respect and follow our club policies.

1. Novice Class Rules (True Beginners Only)

This class is exclusively for true beginners, first-year drivers, and young children.

• No Cross-Entry: To keep competition fair, Novice drivers are not permitted to cross-register or compete in any advanced classes.

• Vehicles: 1/10 scale electric only (e.g., 2WD & 4WD trucks, buggies, or truggies).

• Specs: No age limit or weight restrictions.

• Graduation: Drivers will be moved up to advanced classes as their driving skills improve.

2. Registration Cutoff (9:30 AM)

We need all entries finalized early so we can build the race schedule on time.

• 9:30 AM Sharp: Registration closes. Late entries will not be added to the heats.

• 10:00 AM: Drivers' Meeting & Racing Begins.

3. Race-Ready Policy (The Grid Won't Wait)

Delaying a race means your fellow racers and our volunteer turn marshals are left standing around waiting out on the track. Please respect their time.

• Watch the Order: Monitor the race lineup, charge your batteries early, and be on the grid when your class is called.

• 2-Minute Limit: If a race is delayed by more than 2 minutes for a missing driver, the race will proceed without you.

Hello DRRC!

Another great day of racing was had at our second outdoor race of the season. It was dry and dusty, but still a lot of fun.

Congrats to everybody that made the podium and hope to see everybody this weekend if the weather holds out. We will keep you posted as we get closer.

Unfortunately we do not have enough volunteers for tomorrow’s track maintenance and will need to run the track as is on Sunday unless we can get 3 to 4 people to help out.
