Sheldon asks if it is just as hard for human hands to get in between wheel spokes as it is for dog paws and wonders if this turbo stick really works or if he can have as a fetch stick instead...I told him it really works with the assistance of a drill (not included)!

He has plenty of toys and much to his disappointment didn't get this as a new one 😂🤣

Had a great time meeting some customers and meeting new people at the Tulip Rallye today hosted by MG Car Club North West Centre (MGCC NW). We donated a Be A Good Person Shampoo & Detail spray set and a detailing towel for the raffle. Proceeds went to the Skagit County Food bank. They raised over $1000 today. Was great fun especially after a two year hiatus.

If you attended post some photos. Especially if you were on route "B" as that was an adventure! V8Hotty ended up doing 184 miles roundtrip but was having so much fun we only got this one photo...lol

Oh and the kids in Hamilton were very enterprising, they helped answer some of the Rallye questions (thankfully they knew their town history - kudos on them) so we of course gave them each a Hot Wheels toy car and donated to their ice cream fund 🤣😂

Lastly, V8Hotty won for most correct answers for the group Western Washington's Modern Camaro Club thanks to our co-pilot Christina Mayhew...couldn't have done it without her.

Saturday, April 23rd, is the Tulip Rallye in Burlington. Start is at the freeway side of what used to be Cascade Mall. Check in starts at 8 am and car meeting is 930 am with first car out shortly after that. Cost is $30 if you have not already registered. This is a family friendly event and open to all vehicles.

They give you a list of written directions to follow. You will drive all around the Skagit county area following the route you are given & then writing down answers to various clues of items on the route. You return to the mall with the form.

There are different routes so you may not be on the same route as the car you drove in with...but likely will pass each other at a point or two.

Highly recommend a copilot to navigate & write answers. If by yourself just be safe & pull over to write answers.

Day of show registration is available at the Rallye starting point.  Day of show registration is $30 payable by check or cash.  Please note that day of show registrations will not count towards club first place trophy counts.

The Tulip Rally is on this year! It is for April 23rd. Register by April 16 online & fee is $20, day of registration is $30. The link takes you to the registration page.

Have done this a few times in the past and it is a blast and you get to take roads & see areas you may not have cruised around. Best to have a copilot and bring a lunch (as difficult to get into an eatery on the rally due to time constraints).

The annual Tulip Rallye is a fun event put on by the MG Car Club Northwest Centre and has become a “must do” spring event for car enthusiasts who truly enjoy the thrill of driving on country roads with other like-minded car hobbyists!
