THE RUN THAT CHANGED STREET LEGAL RACING
In 2014, Larry Larson and the S10 did something no street-driven vehicle had ever done before.
At its one and only Drag Week appearance in 2014, the truck ran 6.70s twice, hit 218 MPH for the fastest speed of the event, and later went 6.16 at 219 MPH.
And that was just the beginning.
Later that year, the S10 became the first street-legal vehicle to break into the 5-second zone. At The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Larry laid down a 5.950 @ 244.43 MPH - making the S10 the first street-legal vehicle ever to run in the 5s.
Think about that for a second - 5 seconds. 244 MPH. And it’s driven on the street.
The S10 took what Larry had already accomplished with the Nova and pushed the definition of a street car even further. It became one of the most groundbreaking vehicles in drag-and-drive history.
