Well here is my latest build, it’s a dark metallic orange paint, 190 five speed E Start. I put traditional bars on this one and it has a 2 over swing arm. The rear fender was made by a good friend and partner in my fuel tank builds Joe. 12 inch shinko wheels it’s real fun to ride I have 16/35 gears on it and the shocks are pretty stiff so it wheelies real easy.

Well I got the call from the driver with Bike Haul so he’s picking up my latest build to haul to Santa Barbara CA. To its new owner Spencer a friend of my sons Kyle Maness. I took it out today a put about 25 miles on it ran it up to 70mph and it ran perfect. Had some trials and tribulations getting this bike right but it’s good to go.

So today I took this new build out for its real shake down ride,it ran pretty good,the front fender had a little vibration in it and my clutch isn’t adjusted right but other than that it runs really good. I will say that on my bile I run a 15/32 but I run a 212 Daytona. But this one I put a 15/36 and wow it just wants to wheelie.

So today I switched to the slimmer fuel tank. I got it all bolted on Rand new fuel line with a separate petcock and fired it up. Took a little bit to warm it up and I had to blow into the tank once it had gas in it to get air out of the line but after that it worked perfect. And with my new larger pipe it sounds pretty good to. Now all I got left is polish and clean it all up and the winter upgrades are done.

Well Joe and I were back in the shop today and we made a slimmer version of the fuel tank. We took one inch out of the middle,I don’t yet know how much capacity we lost but it looks great it tucks up nicely into the rack and doesn’t look so boxy. I also polished out another tank to a mirror finish, thanks to Christopher Gorski for the tips it looks like chrome. So please take another look at these tanks and let me know if you would be interested.

Ok guys take a look at what I’ve got to solve all our problems with fuel capacity. In the past I’ve been running this bolt on 1.3 liter tank that doesn’t look very good. So now with all of us buying these 190 or 212 cc motors, you are looking at only about 55 miles. So my tank that I’ve designed and built with Joe Lotspeich holds 1 gal. Bolts right on a trail buddy luggage rack. You will be able to buy the tank by itself for 295.00 if you already have the rack. Also I have a nice LED tail light that will be attached to the tank. So, if you want the whole package it will be 369.00. The fuel line will go right down the inside of the frame and tie in with main tank to give you over 1 1/2 gal. This is built out of 5052 aluminum.

Well I’ve got some new decals on and have polished out my valve cover. I’m trying to put new ceramic wheel bearings but I can’t get the old one out. I’ve got them soaking in some WD maybe they will come out today.
