Cougar Sales & Rental, Inc. Cougar Sales & Rental, Inc. - Celebrating over 55+ Years In Business Serving Southeast Michigan - MDOT DBE Certified Cougar Sales & Rental, Inc.

was founded in 1968 by Ron "RJ" Schmitt and Jim Holton as a concrete sawing and drilling company. After many years of sawing and drilling the company added sales and rentals of contractor's equipment and supplies. In 1981 the company was split into two separate companies. Jim Holton took over the contracting side, and "RJ" continued with the sales and rental side as Cougar Sales & Rental, Inc. The company is now owned and operated by Joanne and Marty Schmitt, and continues to serve the commercial and industrial construction industry. We partner with some of the top rated companies in the world to provide the best in contractor's equipment and supplies. We carry name brands like Husqvarna, Stihl, Honda, MultiQuip, Wacker Neuson, Dewalt, Solomon Colors, Brickform, Kraft Tool, Diamond Products and more. Great customer service and over 200 years of combined experience is at the heart of everything we do. Our goal is to help each and every customer we serve perform at their best. Doing so has made us the BEST contractor's supplier in the midwest.
