Edelbrock Super Series #5 Weekend Update:

Friday, June 5 Test & Tune:

We have a beautiful forecast… Friday Test & Tune will run as advertised with gates opening at 1:00pm and testing beginning at 2:00pm. Please enter through the State Route 601 (Ohio Peterbilt) Gate.

Edelbrock Super Series #5:

Saturday, June 6 - We are going to see two waves of storms on Saturday. The first wave will be in the morning in the 7:00am to 10:00am timeframe. There will not be many gaps in this timeframe as more widespread rain/storms roll through. Between 11:00am and 3:00pm there will be a dry gap with the threat of a very isolated shower or storm. By 3:00pm, more storms will be firing off and with hit or miss storms across the area through 7:00pm. While it won't rain the whole time, the probability of getting hit with a few strong to severe storms is extremely high. A few of the evening storms can produce strong to severe weather with large hail of 1-2" in diameter, 40-60 mph winds and lightning (a tornado risk also exists).

Sunday, June 7 - There is a slight chance (20%) of an early morning shower but otherwise will be a beautiful day!

Summation: We will flex to Sunday! This has become a common tale this season, a poor Saturday forecast with nice weather on Sunday. Keep in mind, this is the last flex date of the year. Without the flex schedule we would have not completed a single Edelbrock Super Series race this year. After this weekend, we live or die on Saturday. I will be sending a survey later this summer seeking your opinion on whether or not we continue with the Flex concept for 2027. I can tell you that we will have more “Doubles” in 2027 and will also begin the Edelbrock Super Series Season the end of April rather than so early in the month.
