URGENT RACER UPDATE: WEATHER ADJUSTMENT & RACE SCHEDULE CHANGE #2

The updated forecast model has accelerated: The leading edge of Hurricane Isaias is now projected to hit our doorstep shortly after 1:00 AM Sunday morning, with trailing bands, widespread rain, and secondary storm cells persisting continuously through 6:00pm Sunday evening.

Given that Sunday will be a complete washout, waiting out the system is not an option. As a result, I have made the decision to run the Halloween Classic to completion TODAY (Saturday).

Revised Saturday Plan of Attack:
- Halloween Classic Main Event: We are pushing hard to contest every remaining round today and crown our champions before weather arrives tonight.

- Box & No Box Mega Rollers Guarantee – We will make every effort to work the Mega Rollers into today’s rotation. If track time does not permit us to run at two rounds of the Box and No Box Mega Rollers races, 100% full refunds will be issued to all entered drivers.

THE CLASSIC FUN CONTINUES AT THE TRANSTEC HALLOWEEN CLASSIC LIII PRESENTED BY HARLAND SHARP!

Yesterday was packed with exciting racing action, close finishes, and big wins! Let’s take a look at some of the highlights!

MOSER ENGINEERING NO BOX SUPER ROLLER
Brian Cireddu and Steven Davenport went head-to-head in an exciting final, but it was Cireddu turning on the win light! Brian drove his 1967 Camaro to the Winner Circle with a .024 reaction time, running 6.052 at 111 mph.
Davenport put up a .012 reaction time, running 6.938 at 96.14 mph!

DORNAN’S SALES AND SERVICES BOX SUPER ROLLER
Lou Greco took the victory over Joey Stojakovich in the final. Stojakovich went - .001 red while running a 4.640 at 120.22 mph. Greco was right there with a .020 reaction time, running 5.720 at 110.41 mph!

R&R AUTOBODY PAINT MY RIDE WINNER
A HUGE congratulations to Jeff Fenn, who defeated Brian Cireddu in the final to take home the Paint My Ride prize! Jeff is now the proud winner of a BRAND-NEW PAINT JOB, which will be proudly showcased at our Banquet of Champions in January!

THE FUN CONTINUES TODAY: FLEENOR FRENZY FRIDAY!
We’re keeping the action rolling today! We’ll continue time trials this morning before jumping straight into Round 1 of the Main Event! Plus, qualifying officially kicks off for Butcher and Sons Inc. Frantic Four and Moser Engineering Top Gun!

IMPORTANT HALLOWEEN CLASSIC UPDATE: WEATHER ADJUSTMENT & SCHEDULE CHANGE!

With the outer bands of Hurricane Isaias forecasted to move into our area late Saturday night bringing precipitation that is likely to linger into late Sunday morning, we are taking proactive steps right now to protect the race and ensure we crown champions this weekend.

To give ourselves the best opportunity to complete the event in its entirety, we are adjusting the Friday run schedule:
- The Friday Box and No Box Mega Rollers races are postponed from their originally scheduled run times.
- Immediately following Friday’s scheduled Time Trial, we will roll straight into Round 1 of the TransTec Halloween Classic Main Event, with eliminations kicking off at approximately 4:00pm on Friday.

Cutting the massive Halloween Classic field in half on Friday evening changes the entire dynamic of the weekend. By completing the opening round early:
- We open substantial track time Saturday to advance multiple rounds of the Main Event, while also creating the window to contest elimination round 1 of both the postponed Box and No Box Mega Rollers.
- By carrying a manageable count of cars into Sunday, we maintain a fighting chance to complete the Halloween Classic before 8:00pm Sunday evening.

FLYWHEELS, HIGH ROLLERS, AND A WHOLE LOT OF HALLOWEEN CLASSIC FUN!

What a Wednesday at the TransTec Halloween Classic LIII presented by Harland Sharp! Beautiful weather, fierce competition, and plenty of fun made PRW Power Flywheel Fling Wednesday one to remember!

The PRW Power Flywheel Fling brought out competitors of all ages, but only THREE could walk away victorious! Congratulations to our 2026 champions!

Men's Category: Caden Miller
Ladies Category: Lisa Dulworth

A huge THANK YOU to PRW Power for bringing the fun and making an already beautiful Wednesday even better!

But while the flywheels were flying, the competition on the quarter-mile was heating up!

Fleenor Racing Transmissions No Box Hi Roller:

AJ Buchanan battled his way to the Winner's Circle, defeating Ron Smith in the final round! Buchanan laid down a .038 reaction time and ran a 5.719 at 117.36 mph to secure the victory over Smith, who posted a .031 reaction time and a 6.708 at 100.58 mph!

Callies Performance Products Box Hi Roller:

It all came down to Mike Donell and Nate Burns! Burns left the starting line just a little too early with a -.012 red light, handing Donell the automatic victory! Donell was ready for battle with a stellar .010 reaction time, running a 6.335 at 107.33 mph!

Tuesday was FULL of Classic fun at the TransTec Halloween Classic LIII presented by Harland Sharp!

The pit vehicles took center stage with the Pit Vehicle Poker Run and the always-popular Dornan’s Sales & Service Pit Vehicle Mania!

Golf Cart: Jim Wirth defeated Bryce Buehrer
Scooter: Randy Scheuer defeated Robbie McCray
Mini Bike: Bill Keller defeated Collin Morton
Outlaw: Austin Lenz defeated Amber Campbell

The four class winners then went head-to-head to determine the 2026 Pit Vehicle Mania Runoff Champion! It all came down to Jim Wirth on his golf cart and Austin Lenz on his four-wheeler, with Wirth taking the win and the Runoff Championship!

The competition didn’t stop there! The Nettie Damron Co****le Tournament presented by Nostalgia Graphics & Mike’s Collision brought out 32 teams, but when the final bag was thrown, Seth Magers and Doug Burgess stood tall as your 2026 Champions!

Now it’s time for PRW Power Flywheel Fling Wednesday! Today, we’re racing the Fleenor Racing Transmissions No Box Hi-Roller Race and the Callies Performance Products Box Hi-Roller Race!

And don’t forget the PRW Power Flywheel Fling takes place TODAY from 2:00 PM–4:00 PM in the Ohio Peterbilt Chalet!

The 3rd Annual Summit Motorsports Park Witches Walk, sponsored by Pickens Metal Works, takes over the TransTec Halloween Classic LIII this Friday, October 9th from 4:30–6:30 p.m.!

Dress in your witchy best and join us for The Walk, The Dance, The Opening Spell, prizes, and costume contests! This year, participants’ costumes will be judged by a special panel of Summit Motorsports Park sponsors and members of our management team, so bring your best look!
