"Following a hit-and-run that caved in the passenger side door of my '98 Boxster, I contacted my Danbury Porsche representative, who recommended a high-end autobody repair shop in Stamford. So I stopped by and got an estimate, then after a couple of days thinking about it, decided to get another from Norwalk Collision because of how clean and neat the place always looks.
Wayne prepared my estimate, and it turned out he had bought his wife a 911 several years back, so I knew I was dealing with a serious car lover who knows the extra steps Porsche takes when painting their cars. I was impressed by his attention to detail, including spotting several minor dings and scratches that he committed to take care of at the same time. He also said he would arrange for an on-site car rental for the 3-4 days it would take, and handle all of the insurance details.
I'm a total stickler for details, with an eye for color differences. The end result is frankly flawless, in that after driving the car for a month, I honestly can't tell the new door's appearance and fit from the original. The rest of the car looks better as well, all at a cost that came in under the Stamford company's estimate.
Highly recommended, and fun talking to Wayne about cars."
