Our customer brought there vehicle to the dealership for lack of power and what sounded like a engine noise, dealership quoted them $14,800.00 for a new engine. The dealership also wanted $3000.00 to diagnose exactly what went wrong, after a few conversations with the customer they had it towed to our shop, where we spent about an 2 hours diagnosing what happened, and found the turbo failed internally causing the lack of power and noise, We also found the exhaust valves were burned up , so after quoting the customer a new turbo and lines also, new head gasket timing chain and valves we were able to bring there bill just over $4000.00 saving them over $10,000 on another motor, Its always good to get a second opinion.
