Rescued from the streets of Barberton by a good Samaritan, Opal found herself in an animal shelter. Very shy and full of concern, Opal just wanted to be held by the staff and assured everything is okay.
Immediately, it was evident Opal could see, but she cannot hear. Her stunning blue eyes connected with everybody she encountered, but she could not respond to their verbal commands. Opal may have a hearing deficit, but sheโs far from broken.
Giving back is a wonderful attribute and deaf dogs double the gift of giving. Theyโre dependent upon their person, so they tend to stay close, watch for their cues, and want to please - making the absolute best constant companion.
Fully vetted and full of hope, this 4-year-old, 26-pound, mix breed gal longs to be adopted by a new family. Might that family be yours?
