We’re seeking a full-time AB Technician to join the team at our small, but well-established, automotive shop.
Located on the corner of Woodley and Division near downtown Northfield, Northfield Autocare has been a community staple since 1987. We’re best known for offering full-service gas in the traditional, old-fashioned way. Qualifications:
Solid understanding of electrical drivability
Familiarity with brakes and suspension
No heavy-line work (engine/transmission) unless desired
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scanners, and software
Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex vehicle systems
Experience with industry-standard tools and equipment
Requirements:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Commitment to accurate diagnostics and quality repairs
Effective communication with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations
Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Physical ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., tools, tires, and parts)
Capacity to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Work schedule:
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
No weekends
Paid holidays
