We are OPEN

We realize many of our customers are dependent on their vehicles to still get to work. We have customers who are doctors, nurses and first responders as well as businesses that depend on their vehicles and us to keep the running.

We are concerned about everyone’s safety and to preventing exposure to any air or contact borne viruses so we are implementing new procedures for the time being. We have been sanitizing doors, counters and credit card readers several times throughout the day. We are now including every car that comes into our shop. We will use new seat covers and floor mats, wipe down the door handle, steering wheel, gear shift handle and dash board with sanitizer wipes before and after work is completed on your car, all of which will be disposed of and not be reused.

Also understand that any repairs may take more time to complete than in the past. While there is no supply shortage of parts, there are limited deliveries and warehouses open causing delays in us getting parts. Repairs that normally would be the same day are taking a day or more.

We understand the importance of needing your car repaired which is why we will stay open but if you are feeling ill and have no reason to use your car we ask that you postpone any work for now. Stay home and stay safe.

You can always call us if you have any questions.

So I called Nicks Service Center just to give the new owner a try and keep his place of business open. I called because I needed and alternator and i told them that i had gotten a quote from auto zone of 197.00 and the service man said "but thats a rebuilt alternator that will last a short time even though there is a life time warranty i will still be paying installation fees every six mths or so". He said the dont use rebuilt so I said ok.The alternator was 360.00 and labor and parts the bill was 469.00, but heres the kicker, its a rebuilt alternator with a 24000 mile or 2 yr warranty!! How f'd up is that !!
