NASCAR YOUTH SERIES ANNOUNCES PETTY PERFORMANCE EDGE TOP 4 FINALISTS

The NASCAR Youth Series, in partnership with Avanti Windows & Doors, is proud to announce the Petty Performance EDGE Top 4 Drivers — a recognition celebrating the outstanding young drivers who demonstrated exceptional skill, sportsmanship, and consistency throughout the 2025 NASCAR Youth Series Season.

The Top 4 Petty Performance Edge drivers are:
Ryker Sumner
Jax Wittmer
Easton Loomis
Leighton Rose

These four drivers will now advance to a private test session, held in Nov., with Chad Boat Motorsports and Jerry Petty at Millbridge Speedway in N.C. During the test session, these drivers will have the opportunity to test either a Junior Sprint or Restricted Micro Sprint. The four drivers will showcase their skills, adaptability in higher divisions and receive valuable feedback from both Boat and Petty.

Following the test, two drivers will be selected securing rides at the prestigious 2026 Tulsa Shootout and the opportunity to race for a Golden Driller.
The top 2 will be announced at the Annual USAC Night of Champions in Indianapolis Ind., at the Rooftop Ballroom on December 12.

The Petty Performance EDGE (Excellence, Development, Growth, Education) program has allowed NASCAR Youth Series drivers to compete with their peers both on and off the track. The program received more than 160 applications. The field was narrowed to 48 drivers across the country. As the 2025 unfolded, drivers were held accountable for involvement in their community, academic successes and their on-track performance throughout the national season. Due to the various requirements, eliminations began from the original 48, to the top 20 and finally the top 10.

Final Wednesday night race of the season at MCQMRC.

Conrad came out in red and had fun. Heat was solid and the feature was past his bed time, so I think he was just cruising before catching some 💤… proud of this 5 yr and what he’s accomplished this rookie season.

Alexander had fun trying a new class, JR 160. We came out of the box 📦 with a bang ❗️ and won our heat… first time in this car, zer0 practice laps… so felt great to get it right on our first laps (got lucky). For the feature we had a good car but got unlucky and were spun while leading… went to the back and got up to 3rd before the race timed out 😢.

Long night, but we had fun!
