P0016 code on the 6.7 powerstroke. Nobody wants to see that come up. Cam gear crank gear out of time. The 6.7 is known for spinning the crank gear and slipping timing. Customer got ahold of me and ya sometimes this means a new engine. However there is a fix for it. But customer was told by every single QUOTE BIG NAME SHOP. West of Salem that he needed a new engine. There was no fix for it. WRONG! There is a fix for it and I proved it this week. 😉 happy to save this customer 25,000$ on an engine.

Remove the cab, pull front timing cover. Pull crank gear. Reset timing to top dead center. Tig weld the gear back to the crank reassemble and send customer on there way. Hope this made your day, it sure made our customer’s day!! 😮‍💨🤩

Now that’s a good weeks work. Gotta push yourself now and then. 3 upper oil pans on 6.7 powerstroke. One can removed and crank gear re timed and welded. 75hrs labor done in 40 hrs not bad for a one man show.

👀 Ok PSA, so listen up! 👀
If you are gonna run an auxiliary tank in your bed. First off… just because you have diesel in your tank at all times does NOT mean it won’t rust!!! 💥 Heat causes condensation which can cause rust. 😮

That goes directly into your fuel system.
✅ Run a filter at minimum!!!
✅ Clean your tanks frequently period.

Saving a few dollars at the pump to buy non taxed diesel to put in a sh*tty tank to destroy a 10,000$ fuel system is not going to pan out long term savings.

🤷‍♂️ Or keep doing it and keep me busy all up to you.

Worst part about this kit is I won’t get to see it on the truck. Full s300 and s400 kit with waste gate option and complete turbo back exhaust headed to Florida. it’s gonna be absolutely gorgeous on the excursion
