What happens when Porsche stops holding back?
The 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS was engineered around one idea: maximize performance through aerodynamics.
Its naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat six produces 518 horsepower, but the real story is what happens when you start moving. Active aero, DRS, and that enormous rear wing help the GT3 RS generate nearly 1,900 lbs of downforce at speed.
And Porsche proved what it could do. In 2022, a GT3 RS completed the Nürburgring Nordschleife in just 6:49.328, averaging roughly 113 mph around the 12.9 mile circuit.
No turbo. No all wheel drive. Just a naturally aspirated flat six, rear wheel drive, serious aerodynamics, and a lot of Porsche engineering.
