The habit of regular vehicle MAINTENANCE can be the key to save time and money. Getting to know a few basic checks can be the difference between a dashboard light on and a car stoped.
The FLUIDS are an important part of your car. Oil is your engine’s life blood, but oil isn’t the only fluid that takes part on your car performance, your car has brake and transmission fluids, coolant, and even washer fluid.
Like motor oil, you’ll check transmission fluid with a dipstick. Determine brake fluid, coolant, and washer fluid levels by removing related covers and visually inspecting each. By the way, NEVER remove the radiator cap to check coolant, instead, check that level in the nearby transparent refill container.
