Tallant's Hot Rod Shop We do all over custom builds for ALL types of cars. Tallant's Hot Rod Shop has been around for 30 plus years and started out as a one man operation.

It later grew into a father/son partnership and remained as such for quite a few years. In 2005, we broke ground and began construction of a new shop. In 2006, the business was Incorporated and in June of that same year, with 4 full time employees, we opened the doors at the new location in North Kansas City, MO. By early 2007, we had grown a little more to a full time staff of 6. We specialize in

high quality collision repair and custom building of Street Rod cars and trucks. We build award winning show cars and trucks, many of which have been publicized in magazines such as Hot Rod, Street Rodder, Street Rod Builder, Super Rod and many more.

Had these two together today.I built the red truck in ‘21 just a a quick cheap truck. I bought it as a parts truck and decided to build it while I was collecting parts for the travelette. Then a friend of mine talked me out of it. It has a supercharged ls 500 hp at the wheel. In for a little maintenance

This 58 Cadillac has been in McLin Paint Works family for a while now. It was last registered in 1992 and still wears most of its original paint. We pulled the original locked up engine and installed a ctsv lsa and 6l90 with a 9” ford and bags. Also installed new ac and installed a 55 Chevy Aeromotive Fuel Systems gas tank for the efi and made it look simple under the hood. There is a lot of work in the engine compartment to make it all fit and look good. This will be a great family car with a bit of power.

We headed out to Joliet Illinois to the start of with Karl Bittner and Jake Amelunke Courtney Springer we drove on up to Chicago to the Navy Pier for a little sightseeing. Then started the tour with lots of sightseeing along the way. Ended up in Tulsa and now driving home …just another 3 hours. It’s been a rainy week but we are making it through it. So far 1500 miles with just a little more to go

We just finished this for a great family. It was damaged last July 4 weekend at the show in Des Moines. We fixed all the sheet metal and dialed in a bunch of stuff on the body. Then painted the whole car. It bent the front suspension also. Thanks to the Koenig family for the work and for being great friends for the last 20 years

Just about to finish this mostly original paint and interior 58 Cadillac for it has a lsa with a 6l90 transmission and a 9” ford. We did the install of the engine,transmission,suspension,brakes,ac and all the fabrication for the radiator, inner cooler,fans,hydro boost and much more. It’s ready to have tuned and tested driven.
