A bit outside my normal routine, but as an owner of a beautiful Alfa Romeo Giulia with the 2.0, I'm aware of the common issues that plague it.
Introducing the in-house designed and manufactured new stainless steel wastegate arm replacement .
Alfa does not offer this by itself.
In fact, if you often get a CEL for the P0299 underboost code like I often did, the common solution is to replace your worn out wastegate arm that you can visually see is wearing out at the holes causing slack in the computer adjustment.
Alfa will happily recommend a whole new turbo assembly to repair this code when all you need is a simple arm.
I have taken all the right steps and measurements to ensure a precise fit better then oem with the same smooth motion on the pins.
You'll also recover throttle response you never knew you lost until you install a new wastegate arm!
If you continue randomly getting the p0299 code for underboost and going into lame limp mode, please inspect your arm, if it has slack or been bent in an attempt to correct the slack, it's time to do it right and get a new, strong wastegate arm.
