A bumper can look pretty simple from the outside. Take it off, and the story changes fast.

Behind it are brackets, wiring, lamps, mounting points, cooling components, sensors, and structural pieces that can all be affected in a collision. That’s why teardown matters: it lets technicians inspect the parts of the vehicle you simply can’t judge from a quick walk-around.

The next time a hit looks “minor,” remember that the outside of the car is only the cover.

The shiny paint gets the attention. This part is what makes it possible.

Here, the technician is working body filler across the damaged panel by hand, shaping and smoothing the surface before it gets anywhere near paint. You can also see the green notes written on the glass, helping keep items like alignment and outside work visible as the vehicle moves through the repair process.

By the time a repaired panel looks simple again, a lot of very un-simple work has already happened.

Two other body shops didn’t give Lisa the options Billy did.

After dealing with an accident caused by someone else, Lisa said Billy was straightforward, compassionate, and “offered me solutions 2 other autobody shops did not.” What stood out most was that she felt he was looking for the right path forward for her, not simply trying to close out another repair.

One look across the shop floor and you can see how many different repairs can be moving at once. 🚗 One vehicle may be waiting on parts, another is being reassembled, and another is getting checked before it moves to the next stage.

With September wrapping up, New Hampshire driving is heading toward shorter days, wet leaves, colder mornings, and eventually snow. If summer left your vehicle with damage you’ve been putting off, this is a good time to let us take a look.

“Come look at this for a second” gets said around here quite a bit. 🔍

In this case, two sets of eyes are down around the wheel well checking the same area. It might be fit, a mounting point, damage uncovered during the repair, or simply something that deserves another look before the vehicle moves forward.

Five minutes of checking now can save a much bigger headache later. Around here, “good enough” usually earns another look.

A toolbox doesn’t repair a car by itself, but it tells you a lot about what happens around it. 🔧

Collision repair means reaching for different tools all day long disassembly, measuring, body work, reassembly, adjustments, and all the small jobs in between. Keeping that equipment organized matters when several vehicles are moving through different stages of repair at the same time.

And yes, somebody is still probably looking for the one tool they just had in their hand.

By this point, most of the heavy repair work is behind us. Now the little things get really noticeable. ✨

Polishing the finish helps us address those final details before the vehicle heads out the door. Shop lights are good at showing imperfections, and bright New Hampshire sunshine is even better.

We’d rather find the little things before you do.
