Greater York County Driving Academy The right choice for the first step in the life long reward of driving. I have recently put two daughters through drivers education.

I understand the feelings associated when it comes to putting your child behind the wheel and the cost to put them there. Educating our students to become proficient, knowledgable and confident drivers is just part of our goal. Giving parents the piece of mind knowing that they have made the right decision, choosing GYCDA not only financially but educationally.

Our classes are now full to the end of the year (2026). We will keep taking students information if you would like to be added to a wait list. We do receive a lot of cancellations because of our schedule being so far booked out.

Other driving schools do offer multiple classes during the summer. It may be an option to be put on one of their waitlist as well.

Due to our sessions be booked so far out, we are receiving lots of cancellations because students were able to get into other Driver Ed schools over the summer. We are currently working through our list and moving students forward as close to thier birthday as possible, (you must be 15 years of age at the start of the class). Kids already 15 years of age and older will be put into available spots as they open up.
