On Saturday March 23 at around 12:20 Smithfield Fire was dispatched to a structure fire on Thomas ln. mutal aid was dispatched as well upon arrival heavy smoke was visible.

Manny crews from several towns made the trip to Smithfield in poor weather conditions in a very timely manner

I would like to thank all our mutual aid departments for there assistance in battling the fire wheather conditions providing water supply and man power non were an easy task but with everything going on we were able to get the fire under control and out.
