Paint correction going down on this GT350

This Tesla Model X is almost 10 years old. I always pick and choose what I decide to take on and this one was very fulfilling.

The owner had the hood and front bumper repainted to fix all of his rock chips from the past 9 years of driving. He wanted to keep the car and maintain it. He reached out asking what would be best to fit his budget. We landed on putting STEK paint protection film over the panels that were repaired to prevent chips in the future, a multi-step paint correction & Gtechniq North America Crystal Serum Ultra ceramic coating.

Once a panel has been repainted and filmed, it's obviously going to look perfect. The key was to get the paint dialed in to match the newly repaired panels. This car was fun for me to shave almost a decade of abuse off and make it look new again for the owner.

Little details that set Fisher Detailing apart from others is nothing is overlooked. When I pull up patterns and I begin to customize them for better coverage, I always measure the distance of stuff to ensure maximum coverage. The pattern for the bumper left 0.4" exposed after one of the sensors. It was a little over 1" needed. The highlighted area shows how much I extended the pattern to make sure it was covered and tucked behind. This is why when you quality shop instead of price shop, you end up here.

This Porsche is getting all dialed in the right way. Everything down to new speed nuts for the hood emblem. Once a badge has been removed so many times on a Porsche, it's a good idea to swap out the speed nuts for new ones with some fresh butyl putty on them.

If the shop working on your car isn't removing emblems and badges to install film, find a new shop.
