This sneaky little in-line fuel filter caused a lot of problems for a 52 Viking. If you have a fuel priming pump, you’re more than likely have this Y fitting on your inlet Fuel Line. When you do a fuel filter change make sure you check this as well.

We had an emergency call for a charter boat that took on seawater in it’s fuel system and shut one engine down and damaged another. We reacted the same day and pumped fresh diesel fuel into the engines. We were able to save one and had to do some repairs on the other. With some overnight parts and help from Bayliss Boat Works, we were able to get this vessel up and running for the Memorial Day weekend. Thanks to our team and all that supported the emergency efforts, we are happy with the outcome.

MAN V12-2000hp cooler service on a Y85 Viking Princess 👸. We serviced, all intercoolers, heat exchanger plates, gear oil coolers, new belts, impellers, valve adjustment, new thermostats, new air filters and coolant. Changed oil and fuel filters on everything and serviced both generators. Enjoy the video.
