ETHAN SOUZA SCORES SECOND PURE STOCK WIN IN PLAYOFF ROUND TWO

SEEKONK, Mass. — Ethan Souza picked the perfect time to find Pure Stock Victory Lane for the second time in 2026 on Friday night, scoring the victory in the second round of the Sunoco Drive For The Cup.

The Story: Souza started mid-pack and worked his way through the field while Steve Aubin led early from the pole. Aubin would lose the lead to Zachary Keith, who would control the top spot until Souza chased him down and made the move for the lead. Once Souza got out front, he didn’t have a challenge from Keith over the final few circuits to score the victory. The win helped Souza open his lead in the Sunoco Drive For The Cup championship battle with just two events left in the season.

The Top Finishers: Keith finished a strong second with Crystal Murray coming home in third. Richie Johnson, another playoff contender, was fourth. Aubin had his best run of the year to finish the top-five.

The Pure Stocks will be back on the track for round three of the Sunoco Drive For The Cup on Friday, September 18.

This SUNDAY September 13th the Granite State Pro Stock Series returns for the Stan Meserve Classic 128 presented by Dunkin'! This also serves as race 6 of 7 in the Darling's Auto Group Pro Stock Series.

Joining the Pro Stocks will be the Maine Air National Guard Recruiting Super Streets, the R&R Raceparts Street Stock Open, Kings Concessions Crown Vic’s and the Judy’s Road Runners.

Racing starts at 3pm!
