We are seeking an experienced Manager / Shop Foreman to oversee the daily operations of our busy, full-service automotive repair shop in Nome, Alaska.

This is a hands-on leadership role with a high degree of autonomy. You'll be empowered to make day-to-day operational decisions, lead the team, improve processes, and help shape the future of the business.

Responsibilities:
* Manage all day-to-day shop operations
* Lead and support technicians while maintaining productivity and quality
* Assist with service advising and customer communication
* Perform advanced diagnostics and assist technicians with complex repairs
* Help in the shop as needed
* Foster a positive, professional culture built on teamwork, accountability, and customer care
* Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and shop performance
Qualifications:
* Advanced diagnostic skills are mandatory. The successful candidate must be able to accurately diagnose complex drivability, electrical, and mechanical issues while mentoring technicians through challenging repairs.
* Extensive automotive repair industry experience
* Previous experience as a Service Manager, Shop Foreman, or Lead Service Advisor
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* A self-starter who is comfortable making decisions and leading independently
* Experience with shop management software (Tekmetric experience is a plus)
* Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
