About the *Experienced* Marine Upholstery Position

We work on a variety of water crafts and always have work lined up.

Types of marine work we do:

Boat Cushions (New covers, wood/ plastic board replacement, foam work)
Jet Ski Seats (Covers and foam work)
T-tops
Bimini Tops
Boat covers (Repairs, making new covers with a pattern, making new covers from scratch)
Boat Cabins
Other Miscellaneous Jobs

Qualifications/ Expectations

2+ years of sewing experience required
Remembering tear down for reassembly is required
Being time- efficient is required
Being punctual is required
Pride in your work is required
Self- management is essential
A good attitude is preferred

We stay busy in every season given the variety in what we do.

Air conditioned sew room with 2 machines inside
2 more sewing machines in the shop with large tables
Enough space to bring almost anything inside
LED lights inside to ensure there is no difficulty seeing
Each employee will have their own tear-down/ assembly table
Each employee will have their own fan in the shop for the hot summers
We always have work lined up
Pay is project completion based and you can make half the labor charged to the customer for each job, so the more you do the more you make. Average pay is $1,500 to $2,400 a week but is not limited, your work quality and speed determines your paycheck.

About the **Experienced** Automotive Upholsterer Position

We are a diverse shop and work on a variety of cars and trucks including foreign and domestic cars and some Recreational Vehicles (RV's).

Automotive work we do here includes:

Seat repairs (Panels, full covers, and foam work)
Console lids
Convertible tops (Manual and automatic. Includes replacing headliners, rain rails, and rams when needed.)
Door panels
Headliners
Carpet jobs
Other miscellaneous automotive needs

Qualifications/ Job Expectations

2+ years of sewing experience is required

This antique rocking horse was brought to us after 3 generations of use to put a new mane and tail on because his were all gone. After we finished with him he looks brand new with a flowing white mane and tail! He is ready now for many more generations of use!

We do a wide variety of marine work here including boat cushions, captain's chairs, recovering Bimini tops, making/ repairing boat covers (we currently do not make them from scratch, but if that is something you would like to do we encourage it and can bring in business for that), t-tops, jet ski seats, boat cabins, etc.

We have a good reputation in town and a standing client base. We do work for a variety of dealers in our area as well as other customers.

About the EXPERIENCED Convertible Top Installer Position

WE ARE A VERY BUSY SHOP AND CAN DO 1 TO 2 TOPS A DAY

This is dependent on the type of car and your knowledge/ skill in removing and installing convertible tops. We work on both Domestic and Foreign cars and we work on automatic and manual tops. We only install quality aftermarket tops from E-Z On or Robbins. We also replace top wells, rain rails, and headliners in convertibles.

Qualifications/ Expectations

2+ years experience is required.
Ability to work on foreign and domestic cars is required
Ability to work on manual and automatic tops is required
Ability to replace headliners and rain rails is preferred
Quality work is required
Punctuality is preferred
Responsibility is preferred
Ability to work with little oversight is expected
Reliability is a must
Benefits

You make half the labor charged to the customer for each job; the customer is charged $600-800 for the job, your half is $300-400.
Depending on your work speed you could make $300-800 per day. (This is dependent on labor charged to the customer and how many cars you can correctly complete in a day)
We have a shop big enough to do all tops inside, which means you are out of the harsh sun
Each employee will be provided their own fan in their work area
Plenty of sun in the parking lot to help relax wrinkles that may occur in the top you installed
LED lights in your work-space so that you can see what you are doing without being outside
