Tautog Hunter of Niantic My name is Michael Gignac and I’m located in Niantic, Connecticut. Target Fish are Tautog, Black Sea Bass and Striper Bass.

Love fishing in my 21 foot center console boat and with my Native Titan X fishing Kayak in the Niantic and Long Island Sound area. Welcome to The Gignac Bee Farm in Niantic Connecticut. We are a hobby farm that is operated by Michael and Brian Gignac. Michael and Brian Gignac started this hobby in 2009 with two bee hives. We have grown to 16 bee hive all together. We have hives in East Lyme, Bozrah and in Preston Connecticut. We also offer Honey Bee removal service for the Southeastern Connecticut.

Nice one to end the day with! Getting that last Tautog in before heading back to Niantic. There is nothing like a good pull on the rod to wrap things up. Anyone else getting out this weekend? 🐠

Sometimes the excitement just takes over! A solid keeper at Black Point to start the day. I'm using the orange weights again—they really seem to be doing the trick.

Great day out on the Long Island Sound! Landed ten tog and an 18-inch sea bass. The sea bass went back since I was only looking for Tautog. I ha two keepers out of the 10 Tog. How is the bite looking for you guys today?

Day one out near Black Point and we're officially on the board! 🎣 Got a keeper Sea Bass and a 14-inch Tog to start the season. Who else is hitting the water this weekend?

Exploring further up the Niantic River today. The leaves are finally starting to turn orange! 🍂 It's warmed up nicely out here, just waiting on the fish to start biting. Anyone else out?

Heading out of Three Belles Marina in the new Titan X 12.5. The way this handles the Niantic Bay waves compared to my 10.5 is a total game changer. Hunting for Stripers today—wish me luck!

Landed this 3.5 lb Unique Greenback Cutthroat on Fishing Planet today! 🌎 Not a Tautog, but still a fun to catch. 🤣 Anyone else play Fishing Planet on play Station 5?
