Let’s clear the air as the rumors are spreading! My mother worked tirelessly to make a name for herself! 42 years of cooking, hard work, amazing employees and customers who became family, love, and loss! Kobans Restaurant is not reopening!!! You will not see the same familiar faces or recipes! The building was sold twice and is now reopening as Kobans 2.0. Again, no affiliation to the Koban, Frost, and Sortore families!!! Koban is my mother’s maiden name and something that she is proud of! Just as much as I am proud of who I am and my last name! If you know anything about my mother you know she’s an angel on earth, a hard working woman, and an amazing mother, grandmother and wife! A woman who would give you the shirt off her back! God bless the people who are reopening the building and best of luck to them!
