The weatherman gets a big shoutout tonight!

Christopher White with Foothills Weather Network, Catawba County and Foothills Weather Network, Burke County started communicating with us last year and has provided invaluable weather forecasts and critical updates to help us make better decisions for our competitors and fans.

The late afternoon update showed weather would be moving in during our event that could disrupt our season finale. So management and race control made the decision to expedite proceedings. There were a few hiccups with early race cautions but otherwise everyone did their part. Unfortunately we fell one race short. But with the impending weather we are thankful we were able to get to that point. The Leapfrog Lawncare & Landscaping Super Trucks will finish out their championship season on October 10th.
