We had another amazing time at the NHKA Racing Series Kartmania this weekend. Although Saturday was cut short due to rain, Sunday was a perfect summer day for racing. Tyler took to the track in Cadet class for the first time. He was keeping up in practice, and driving well all weekend. He qualified 10th out of 17 and turned it into an 8th place finish on Sunday. He did amazing and loved every minute. Ryan finally had the chance to run the whole road course this year. He was fastest in practice on Sat, and qualified on the front row in 2nd for the race. A slight mistake on Sunday separated him just enough from the front karts and because the draft is so strong here, he wasn’t able to catch them. He did drive great, and finished in 4th, a strong showing. We had a blast, and even managed to win the pit decorating contest. The theme this year was decades, so we went way back to the 1770’s. So much fun, can’t wait for August’s races. Thanks to the NHKA staff for putting on a great event.
Special thanks also to Carpy's Print Co., that orange kart is easy to spot from a distance, and looks good up front. Also to Snap Ya Neck Racing, we had all the power to set the pace on a track that’s full throttle all the way.
