I got to work on something a little different today. A customer came by with his 1933 Ford for some Custom Radiator Supports. I created a couple different models so he can choose the design he liked best. Then I machine them from blocks of aluminum. Custom parts that look like they belong is the way to do it.

I CNC machined this cover for a customer as a custom order. He later contacted me and wanted to have it painted. I’m so impressed at the detail my Airbrush Artist is able to produce. I never thought he would be able to follow such great detail with the tiny ball End Mills I use.

This is my reaper design. It was Machined in a CNC machine and painted by a very talented Airbrush Artist. The air brushing really adds a lot of depth to my 3-D Machined cover. I love how he added a light accent to both covers. The combination of 3-D machining, and, the depth of the airbrush work is very impressive.

This design is called Skull Ax. It was machined from a block of aluminum in a CNC Machine and Airbrushed by a very talented artist. The details around the skull and ax are shaded in a way that makes it look like it’s in the dark. When light hits those areas those details show. This cover has a lot of depth between the 3-D machining and 3-D airbrush work.

Check out my latest airbrush work done on one of my custom machined derby covers. The outside around the skull and ax are Airbrush in a way that shades the details. It’s almost like it’s in the dark. When light shines on it all those details show. I love the way this looks.
