Lee went to visit Noire, a Bloomfield Custom 70 by Cure Composites.

A carbon performance multihull with a North 3Di sail package, Harken Performa winches and a setup designed around shorthanded sailing.

The interior is equally considered, with lightweight construction throughout, Arlington Oak joinery and a fully electric galley.

Recent upgrades to Thirst include a redesigned steering system, replacement Yanmar 3JH40 engine, a 2025 rig repaint, and a new Doyle Stratis mainsail delivered in June 2026.

The electrical system has also been updated with 720Ah of Mastervolt lithium, 1,600W of solar, a Watt & Sea hydrogenerator, and Starlink.

Her enclosed cockpit saloon includes triple B&G displays, integrated running rigging, and seating for eight around a varnished teak dining table.
