David Stroehmann’s business (Stroehmann Enterprises LLC) began the unpleasant process of shopping for a used Commercial Heavy/Medium Duty Diesel Truck. After countless phone calls, hours on the internet, and numerous trips to dealers, he realized that the trucks looked good in the pictures but were clearly not refurbished, as stated. They had painted over the rust and grease, the pictures were misleading, etc. It was then he realized the only way he was going to get a high-quality used Diesel truck was if he refurbished it himself. So that’s just what he did…

After much thought and planning, Mr. Stroehmann decided to begin operating Stroehmann Enterprises LLC under the DBA Stroehmann Commercial Trucks & Equipment AKA SCT&E. Stroehmann saw that there was a demand for high quality refurbished Heavy & Medium Duty Diesel Trucks & Equipment. He wanted to give Commercial Fleets, Individuals and Construction Businesses an alternative to the “Lick & Promise” reconditioning offered by other used truck, RV & equipment dealers. We not only Service Customers Commercial Diesel Trucks, RV’s & Equipment but we also service & sell Heavy Duty/Medium Duty Diesel Trucks, and Off-Road Diesel & Gas Equipment. The Trucks & Equipment we offer range from Garden Tractors to 65’ Boom Lifts to Skid Steers to Heavy/Medium Duty Diesel Trucks of all types makes & models and everything in between. We cosmetically refurbish and fully service the equipment we sell. We also make sure there are absolutely NO KNOW MECHANICAL ISSUES AT THE TIME OF SALE. At SCT&E, we treat each unit in inventory as if it were going to be in our own fleet, just like Mr. Stroehmann did when he refurbished the first truck. In January of 2020 Mr. Stroehmann began construction and built a 7800 sq’ building with 300’ of road front on his parcel at the corner of Highway 24 & Red Barn Rd in Newport NC. This new state of the art facility has 5 – 60’ wide X 14’ tall bays enabling them to accommodate any size vehicle. The business opened in January of 2022 and has been thriving ever since. Once the new building was opened, we added RV, Off Highway Construction Diesel & Gas Equipment to the Service offerings. The new building has become a full-service dealership, selling & servicing all makes and models of RV’s, Diesel & Gas trucks as well as Off- Highway Equipment allowing us to offer you a one stop shop.
