I did something today that literally hurt me on a moral level.
I turned away a customer because of politics. I didnt want to turn him away , in fact I tried to sell him.
But what he wanted was a sticker verifying his motorcycle had been inspected and was safe for the road this year.
Sadly I could provide the inspection at the time but not the sticker.
I am and will be offering a very low cost motorcycle inspection .
For $30 I will go from one end to the other
And check more then I did when I was doing for the state.
From light function and tire wear to lever pull and clutch engagement. I check and test your bikes ride ability and condition.
I couldn’t possibly sell it any cheaper .
So what’s stopping people from getting these low cost check overs . Ones that are the exact same price as the state inspection I was doing last year?
In my opinion it’s lack of requirement , coupled with people wanting to save money in these very trying times .
Should I make my own sticker that say inspected by g&w on said date ?
Should I advertise my low cost check over to promote it more?
Ultimately I want all the riders out there safe .
If you or someone you love owns a motorcycle of any brand and want cheap peace of mind send them our way.
I’d be happy to give them my honest opinion on there motorbike .
No appointment necessary.
Just ride in.
