We welcome back Brailynn Faith with Simply Play Music on Saturday to perform our National Anthem! Be sure to check out Simply Play Music if you're interested in music lessons! They offer a wide variety from guitar to drums to piano to singing and much more! They will be setup at top of grandstands Saturday so go by and visit them!

NEW INFO! Racers and Fans! I have created a page on our website for Raceday Info. This will be a central location for raceday updates. This will have the schedule for the raceday on it and any important information regarding that day. If there are any schedule changes, lineup changes, delays, etc, that info will be found on there. We will have QR codes up at the track that will link you directly to it or you can always find it at www.thenewportspeedway.com/raceday

Super Street! A division that needs more attention!

We know there are several out there. Let us know what is keeping you from running with us. Are you building one?! Also, if you're interested in running this division and have questions, please feel free to ask!

Here are some basics:

*V8 engine
*1 single 4 barrel carb
*3100 lbs with driver/1400 right side
*8" wheels
*Hoosier Comanche tires

Just want to get on here and ask for prayers for some of our race family as yesterday brought some trials.

Please say prayers for Peyton Hamlett after his wreck last night. Please prayer for all the physical pain he has endured but also mental strain it has on all the ones involved in that accident as well.

We switched our schedule around to run street stock first so we could get James Dolan out after his race to go be with his granddaughter. She was involved in a bad accident and is in critical care. Please say prayers for this baby girl! She's currently scheduled for surgery tomorrow.

Also we had several that had vehicle and travel issues on the way Friday and Saturday. I know of at least 3. But they still managed to make it there to do what they love!

Racing isnt just something to do. Its doing something you love. Everyone becomes family. Yes there's rivals, yes there's issues. But we all share a passion. We want this to be a place everyone comes to enjoy. We appreciate each and every person that steps foot into our facility. Spectators. Racers. Workers. Sponsors. Everyone! We couldn't do it without all of you!

Last night was a reminder that we never know what could happen in a split second. Also you never know the person next to us is struggling with. Spread kindness today and whisper a prayer for these folks!
