Some parts are getting harder and harder to find. It's a good idea to save some of them.
Every car guy has a shelf, drawer, or corner of the garage full of parts that are “too good to throw away.”
Old brackets. Spare bolts. Carburetors. Trim pieces. That one weird connector you haven’t needed since 1987.
And somehow, the day you finally need one of them, keeping it all feels completely justified.
