TOW OPERATORS MECHANICS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY

OPEN POSITIONS:
-Full Time Wrecker Operator
-Full Time Automotive Technician
Job Summary Wrecker Operator
-Operates rollback or wheel lift trucks; rights overturned vehicles which may require the use of movable or non-movable booms and/or power winches; rigs various vehicles to be righted or towed using accepted procedures; uses booms to lift vehicles for towing; tows vehicles to designated locations; positions vehicles in work area for repair.
-Clears accidents involving vehicles from streets and highways.
-Performs light road service: Jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, fuel delivery, etc.
-Performs emergency repairs to keep vehicles operating or able to return to shop for further repairs, e.g., replaces hoses, wires, belts and batteries, tightens parts, adds fuel; inspects equipment for loose parts, damaged or worn tires and other items affecting its safe operation; checks oil, water, lights and mirrors.
-Observes instruments while the vehicle is in operation and makes routine corrective action if malfunction is indicated.
-Keeps trip records on log books, reports defects in the vehicle operated including accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicle.
-Performs related work as required.
-Previous experience is required
-Must be able to work nights/weekends/holidays.
Pay: Based on experience.
MUST BRING A CURRENT COPY OF DRIVING RECORD TO INTERVIEW.
Must be 25 or older for insurance purposes and have a good driving record. No DUI's or Reckless Driving convictions.
Must pass a drug test and background check.
Must have a towing license (DCJS Card) issued by the State of Virginia. (For Wecker Operators)
