A familiar car with a very special history

This 1966 Mercedes-Benz 250SE Cabriolet was once part of 303 CARS — and it’s exactly the kind of automobile that shows why truly special classics continue to stand out decades later

Only around 950 250SE Cabriolets were produced, making it a rare example of Mercedes-Benz’s iconic W111 generation

Highlights include:

• 2.5L inline-six
• 4-speed automatic transmission
• Rear-wheel drive
• Red leather interior
• Wood trim
• Classic Mercedes-Benz chrome detailing
• Timeless open-top W111 styling

This is more than just an old Mercedes

It’s a piece of automotive history — and for us, it’s even more interesting knowing that this exact car was once part of the 303 CARS story

We’ve always had a passion for unusual, collectible and hard-to-find vehicles

If there’s a specific classic, rare model or unique specification you’re trying to find, let us know what you’re looking for

WE JUST SECURED A PIECE OF 1959 🇺🇸

This 1959 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner was just won by 303 CARS on Bring a Trailer for $15,000

47 bids
392 watchers
One winning bidder — 303cars

And this isn’t just another old Ford

The Skyliner was one of the first mass-produced cars to feature a power-folding retractable hardtop — an incredible piece of engineering for the late 1950s

Under the hood:

352ci V8
300 HP when new
3-Speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic
Rear-wheel drive

This example spent years with the same owner and was previously displayed in a museum

It’s also an honest project car — the hardtop mechanism needs repair, the transmission needs attention, and there’s rust work to address

But that’s exactly the point

At 303 CARS, we don’t just wait for interesting cars to show up locally

We search for them
We study the history
We evaluate the opportunity
And we buy the right cars for our clients

Rare classics
Collector cars
Hard-to-find specs
Cars with real character
