Recent data suggests that there will be shortages of pre-owned cars for the next year. This is good news for people wanting to trade in pre-owned cars, as they are holding better than average values, particularly for full-sized SUV,s and Minivans.

While the expected incentive war has not yet materialized due to slower than expected U.S. car production for the Japanese 3, our early September warning on the softening wholesale market did come to pass.
